Tregaron Red Kite Centre

If you want to know more about the Red Kite, local wildlife and history, then the Tregaron Red Kite Centre and museum is the place to visit for local information. It is located in the beautifully converted old school house. There is car parking in the old playground. Coffee, tea, delicious home baked welsh cakes, and a warm welsh welcome within.

The Kite Centre is located on the B4343, just outside Tregaron on the road to Llanddewi Brefi.  To see a map please click here.

Tregaron Kite Centre also acts as an information centre for Cors Caron (Tregaron Bog).  An information board in the lobby logs the birds that have been spotted there during the week. 

Kite feeding is carried out on Cors Caron during winter months only, at 2:00pm.  You can observe this from the road bridge on the A485 (Tregaron to Aberystwyth road) about 1 mile outside Tregaron.
