 Hillwalking

View from Pant Gwyn Bridlepath

A peek at the maps will show you that we are well-served by footpaths, forestry tracks and quiet country lanes.

The scenery is stunning and reaches as far as the eye can see and beyond.  It is beautiful at all times of the year and in all weathers.  If you get wet whilst walking, we'll dry your clothes and boots ready for the next day.

Llyn Y Gwaith - 4 miles from Brynheulog

We have a folder of hillwalks, from short strolls to longer hikes, all in the Llanddewi Brefi and Tregaron area, along with maps for the surrounding area.

Llyn Y Gwaith is a peaceful lake which is accessed by forestry tracks and is located just 4 miles from Brynheulog.  It  was the water supply for the lead mine workings  which operated in the area in the late 1800's.

The map below shows the close proximity of footpaths to Brynheulog.

O/S Map Explorer 199 will provide the whole picture for you.
